The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime is the strategic oversight body which sets the direction and budget for the Metropolitan Police Service on behalf of the Mayor of London. MOPAC are seeking a politically astute, highly skilled, efficient Executive Assistant to support MOPAC’s Victims’ Commisisioner for London and Director of IOM Programmes and Neighbourhoods.

In the role you will work sensitively with politicians and senior officials by understanding their respective roles and support the day to day operation of the Victim Commissioner for London and the Driector of IOM, Programmes and Neighbourhoods and the wider work of MOPAC. You will maintain vital contacts with the Mayor’s Office, Metropolitan Police Service, London’s Criminal Justice system and London Government. 

Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills is required as well as an understanding of London government and the role of the Mayor’s Office. Plus a willingness to work collaboratively and flexibly across a range of complex and demanding briefs. The ideal candidate will have significant experience of providing a professional executive support service in a political environment using high levels of autonomy and intuition.

Relevant qualifications and/or high level secretarial and PA skills is required, plus excellent organisational skills, ability to multi-task and organise others, minute taking experience and diary management. Please note that the successful candidate is expected to complete security clearance.
